Yesterday was a full day on the train. I woke up and we were out of the mountains. Flat land was all that could be seen filled with cows and cow pasture and alfalfa fields. They were beautiful in their own way. The train did stop twice along our way yesterday; once in Sakatoon an once in another place. Each time was a good opportunity to get out and walk. I only got it 5000 steps yesterday so it was good to at least get some exercise.
I wrote a Christmas Devotional for the Advent booklet that I should have finished before the sabbatical. Still some work to be done today. Played Euchre in the afternoon with a couple we met who has been and will be with us from day one. They too are hoping to Halifax. They are a very nice couple from South Bend, IN.
