Psalm 44

We had a great day yesterday. We went to hear Michael Kinniman at the first service and had planned to hear Amy Gopp at the second service but we failed to get a seat and did not want to stand.

We traveled downtown for lunch at a BBQ place. Very good. Dad and I had a nice walk along the main drag. It was extremely hot so we did not walk too far.

We attended the opening businesses session had supper and came back to the cabin. Dad needed some supplies so we found a local walmart and stocked up.we miffed the concert that evening but enjoyed playing cribbage.

This morning I am out early enjoying the day.the sun has turned the humidity in the air a beautiful orange. Birds are singing and all nature is welcoming the new day.

Thank you God for this new day and help me make the most out of it for you. Amen.
