Psalm 37

I went to the outdoor service at Gender Road. It was fairly well atended and Jeff did another good sermon on the freedoms we have as Christians. He tied it in well with the holiday today. Andy and I left for Hocking Hills yesterday taking two cars to park at each end of the trail from Old Man's Cave to Ash Cave. A dog jumped out in front of me and i slammed on the brakes. Andy braked to avoid hitting me but the car behind Andy did not brake in time and clobbered his back end. His bumper is just hanging there. After the police reports, we continued on our way and hiked the six miles between the two caves. It was a great hike. We took the gorge hike which I have not done in several years and boy is it beautiful.

This morning I am sitting on the back porch surounded by flowers and enjoying the sunrise. Thank you God for the morning, for the anticipation of all the day might hold. Heather and Stu and little Stu are coming over and Andy and Michal are here. Only wish Adam, Aireen, and Julie could be here.

Lord, thank you for a great day. Amen.
