Psalm 60-61
Yesterday, I had planned to hike Wildcat Hollow just north of Glouster, OH. I drove all of the way there and began hiking. The trail in the beginning was just how I remembered it. However, soon it became a muddy mess. Not only was it muddy, but the trail was overgrown with Stinging nettles. I went into this tangled mess thinking that it would get better. No such luck. If anything it got worse. I hike for the enjoyment of it and I was not enjoyng this. So I turned around and came home. the good new is that of the last 3 days I have traveled some 20 miles.
Here i hiked today there is a pond that had 8 white egrets feeding. They were beautiful. I also went past the place where I put the five bunnys that were in our front flower beds. No sign of the bunnys. Hopefully they all survived their transplanting.
Baby Stu is coming over today and we get him overnight as today is Heather and Stu's 4th anniversary. So they are going out to celebrate and we get our grand-son. A win-win.
God, Thank you for the beauty of nature, anniversaries, and grandchildren. Amen.
