Psalm 74-75
As it turned out, I biked and hiked for a total of 15 miles. The temperatures are great. The temp os 56 degrees outside this morning. I need a jacket. We opened the windows last night and let in the cool air and snuggled under the covers. Great nights sleep.
I hiked the wetlands trail at slate run yesterday. For the second time, I saw the Sand Hill cranes. They are beautiful. There were two adults and one young one. They are not real skidish with one person being around but as two or move congregate to see them, they head for the cover of high bushes. I was able to spend 5 whole minutes with them before a family with a dog (which are not allowed on the trail) made the scene and cranes headed into the tall weeds. Oh well.
God, thank you for the beauty of you world and all of the creatures you placed here for us to enjoy. Amen.
